Embark on the Diran Base Camp Trek, an enthralling journey through the majestic Karakoram Range. Spanning 14 days and ranging from 600m to 4000m in altitude, this trek promises an unforgettable adventure in an open zone, ideal from June to September. Starting from Bagrot Valley, just 15 km downstream from Gilgit, the trek begins in a desolate lower valley that gradually transforms into cultivated landscapes as you ascend towards Sinakkar. Along the way, feast your eyes on the breathtaking south faces of Rakaposhi (7788m) and Diran (7266m), and marvel at the twin summits of Bilchar Dobani (6134m).

Further enchantment awaits in the Haramosh Valley to the east, where towering peaks like Phuparash (6785m), Malubiting (7458m), Laila (6986m), and Haramosh (7409m) dominate the horizon. Despite their stunning beauty, these valleys remain off the beaten path for many trekkers, making them undiscovered treasures ripe for exploration. Accessible by road with mostly gentle trails and panoramic vistas, the Diran Base Camp Trek offers a perfect blend of adventure and natural splendor. Get ready for an enchanting experience as you journey along this lesser-known route and immerse yourself in the grandeur of the Karakoram Range.
