The Peshawar Museum has rare artifacts from the Gandhara civilization, telling the story of the region’s heritage and ancient civilizations. Qissa Khawani Bazaar, once home to storytellers, is now a mix of dental clinics and vibrant shops, reflecting the city’s changing character. The walled city features architectural gems like Sethi House, blending Gandhara and Central Asian styles. The museum explores Buddha’s story and Buddhism’s rise and fall in the region, showing Peshawar’s spiritual and historical sides. Our day ends at Khyber Gate, an ancient gateway with historical importance and great views of the city, reflecting on our experiences and the city’s charm.
